Muppadai Training Academy (referred to as "we", "us", or "our") operates the Muppadai Online Course mobile application (available on Google Play Store, App ID: com.muppadaitrainingacademy) and the website muppadaionlinecourse.com.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of our app and website, including students who purchase or access online courses. By using our app or website, you agree to the terms described in this policy.

2Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you register, purchase a course, or use our app:

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Phone Number — used for account registration and OTP verification
• Email Address — used for account login and communication
• Payment Details — processed securely through Google Play Store billing (we do not store card or UPI details)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information — device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers
• Usage Data — courses accessed, videos watched, tests taken, time spent on app
• Log Data — IP address, app version, crash reports, error logs
• Location — approximate location (city/state level) derived from IP address for service improvement only

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone unless explicitly required for a feature
• We do not collect sensitive personal data such as biometrics, health data, or financial records
• We do not collect data from children under the age of 13 knowingly

We use your information solely to provide, improve and support our educational services:

• Google Play & Payment Processing — purchases are handled by Google Play billing. Google's privacy policy applies to those transactions.
• Service Providers — we use trusted third-party services (hosting, analytics, push notifications) that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Compliance — we may disclose data when required by Indian law, court order, or government authority.
• Business Transfer — in the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction with prior notice to users.

We require all third-party service providers to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify.

Your personal data is stored on secure servers located in India and/or with trusted cloud service providers. We implement the following security measures:

• Account data — retained while your account is active and for 2 years after account closure for legal compliance
• Course progress & scores — retained for 3 years to allow access to your learning history
• Transaction records — retained for 7 years as required under Indian financial laws
• Log data — retained for up to 90 days for technical troubleshooting

You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time (see Section 8 — Your Rights).

7Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your browsing experience:

Our mobile app does not use browser cookies. The app uses device storage (local storage) to save your session and preferences.

Account & Data Deletion

To delete your account and all associated data from the Muppadai app:

• Open the Muppadai Online Course app → Go to Profile / Settings → Select Delete Account
• Or contact us directly via WhatsApp or email with your registered phone number and request deletion

We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Note that transaction records may be retained for legal compliance as described in Section 6.

9Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for students preparing for government competitive exams and are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at the details below and we will delete that information promptly.

10Third-Party Services

Our app and website may integrate with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Google Play Store — for app distribution and in-app purchases (Google Privacy Policy)
• YouTube — embedded videos on website (Google Privacy Policy)
• WhatsApp — customer support communication (WhatsApp Privacy Policy)
